The team behind flag football projects in Switzerland.

We founded Swiss Flag Development on 1 September 2026 in Winterthur, with one goal: to give flag football in Switzerland what it needs to grow. That means developing the sport, connecting the people in it and making it more visible, for the long run.

Flag football is booming, in Switzerland and around the world, and in 2028 it makes its Olympic debut in Los Angeles. New teams, tournaments, training programmes and international contacts are popping up everywhere. That’s where we come in: when a club, a team or a few motivated people have a big idea but can’t carry the organisation alone, SFD helps get it off the ground.

How we work

An umbrella, not another club

SFD isn’t another sports club, and we don’t compete with existing clubs or federations. We’re the umbrella and the shared infrastructure behind independent projects. Every project gets its own organisation, clear responsibilities and its own budget. And you don’t need to be a member to get involved in a project.
